This is a deck chair I did in 2003 for a customer of my mother-in-law's. Believe it or not, the chair was purchased for only $5.00. All three sections are strand cane weaving, done with the standard 7-step method.

This is a stool woven in the basketweave pattern in binder cane. The lower rungs were also woven to create a "shelf" on this piece, which also adds extra support. Woven in 2004 for my close friends.

This is a footstool with the top woven in fibre rush. The "shelf" is woven with flat reed in a herringbone pattern. This was done in 2005 as a sample and is available for use in classes.

This is a an antique chair belonging to my mother that has been in our family for years. It is done in strand cane. Notice the unequal spacing in the pattern to due to the holes being unevenly spaced because they are hand drilled.

This is a handmade, hand-carved rocker that I purchased at a yard sale. I replaced the pressed cane seat and applied a fresh coat of wax.

This is a green, distressed ladderback chair I purchased at an antique mall for only $5. The paint was in great condition so a new fibre rush seat was all that was needed. This chair now resides at my Dad and stepmom's log home.

These two ladderback chairs were purchased from an antique store for only $17.50 for the pair. The finish was excellent so only the seats needed work. There was broken fibre rush on the seats when I purchased them but I chose to reweave them in a herringbone pattern with 1/2" flat reed and stain it classic oak.
